Hi Thorsten,
I didn't mean to suggest that you *should* change the design, only that as Full Access Administrator, you have all the power you need to be able to copy information from the log, and much more.
I had to look at the R5 log design to verify that you're right: the fields displayed in an R5 event log document are editable, while ND6 uses fields that are computed for display. In either release, though, the easiest way to copy log text is to select it with the mouse or keyboard (ctrl-A is a favorite of mine) in Read mode.
